We are looking for a passionate senior Marketing professional to lead global efforts across our group of music instrument and retail brands, including, but not limited to, MONO, Heritage Guitars, Harmony Guitars and Swee Lee. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated talent for marketing musical instrument products and an exceptional eye for good creative. This is a key leadership role that will help drive sales and brand value through effective, relevant and meaningful marketing campaigns, content and partnerships.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee, develop and implement B2C and B2B marketing strategies and plans, including promotional calendars and programs, new product introductions and other marketing projects
  2. Oversee , develop and implement effective advertising, public relations, social media and events
  3. Develop, monitor and manage marketing budgets and costs
  4. Conduct thorough analysis on marketing ROI and successfully develop cost effective solutions
  5. Establish and grow market share and sales
  6. Conduct customer, brand and product research initiatives to develop a strategic view of the market and identify short-term and long-term opportunities
  7. Drive branding and corporate identity initiatives
  8. Oversee product branding plans
  9. Create processes and infrastructure to manage and scale a high volume of marketing activities
  10. Negotiate with media partners to guarantee advantageous contracts
  11. Manage agency providers, consultants, freelancers and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management
  12. Possess expert knowledge of competitive products and stay up-to-date on product and industry developments
  13. Work with internal cross-functional Product, Sales, E-commerce and Brand teams
  14. Develop and manage a high-performing marketing team. Mentor team members to support their performance and development
  15. Define and report KPIs and metrics to management

Requirements

  1. 7+ years of experience in B2C marketing or advertising
  2. World-class portfolio of interesting, compelling, dynamic work across digital, physical and social mediums
  3. Deep understanding of distribution and retail business in the music or similar industry
  4. Exceptional eye for good creative and an ability to lead and mentor designers, copywriters, videographers and animators to produce high quality assets
  5. Can demonstrate driving successful go-to-market plans
  6. Can speak the language of product, marketing and creative teams with equal fluency
  7. Demonstrated capacity to communicate and simplify ambiguous and complex concepts
  8. Ability to work in a matrix organisation and effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally and with management at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  9. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, and have a goal-oriented entrepreneurial mindset, driven to succeed and always up for a challenge
  10. Fluency in English
  11. Knowledge of and passion for music is a MUST
